Greetings from the Land of the Midnight Sun!

You probably haven’t heard, but I’m spending the summer here in Alaska, one of my all-time favorite travel destinations.

Actually, I take that back.

I’m spending the rest of my life here in Alaska, one of my all-time favorite travel destinations.

So I wanted to write this note and tell you personally that Alaska is no longer a travel destination for me.

It’s now home.

Now why are Don and I doing something that might first seem somewhat...radical? (Other than the fact that we have always been natural-born “cliff jumpers.”)

Well, it should come as no great surprise to you that aviation plays a big part.

Specifically, I have the opportunity to fly floatplanes in Alaska for Rust’s, the oldest and most prestigious flying service on the world’s busiest seaplane base, Lake Hood.

While Don has the opportunity to scratch an itch and fill a niche by starting a flight school focused on aerobatics. (Right after he finishes the summer aerobatic contest circuit in the Lower 48, that is.)

And all this will happen as we live with our plane at a new development named Skyland Airpark in the shadow of North America’s largest mountain peak, mighty Denali.

The proverbial cherry on top is that Don, with his nearly 30 years experience as a licensed real estate broker, has been hand-picked by the developer to help sell the rest of this multi-million dollar project.

That’s why we’re doing something that might first seem somewhat radical.

So what does this mean for you?

It means Wines by Jennifer® as you've known it since 2003 is no more.

It has sincerely been our great privilege and pleasure to serve you all these years. But please don’t be sad.

Because while one window is closing, a huge (hangar) door has just opened.

I hope you’ll come visit one day.

Your friend,

Jennifer

P.S. If you’d like to follow along at home, Don will be chronicling our new adventures at www.LiveTheDreamInAlaska.com or @LiveTheDreamInAlaska on Insta and YouTube!
